Defective Products

Companies are responsible for the safety of their products.  Product liability is the legal accountability for the manufacture and sale of products that are safe to use.  When products are defective they can cause injury and even death.  A product that is unsafe due to defects in workmanship or design may cause harm to those who use the products.  The products must be used in the manner for which they were intended.  There are many types of products that may be defective and cause harm including:

  • Defective automobiles or tires
  • Sporting goods that are unstable
