About Me

Mr. Tung specializes in handling cases from start to finish. He is able to work on your case to resolve it through negotiations as well as through trial. As a general prosecutor, Mr. Tung worked with many types of cases in the courtroom. He has a wide variety of skills and experience handling civil litigation cases as well as criminal cases. He has expertise working to defend criminal clients as well, having working with a renowned forensic scientist, Dr. Henry Lee.

Mr. Tung also practices in a wide range of immigration law cases. In particular, Mr. Tung and his attorneys provide professional EB-5 visa petition services. Mr. Tung is experienced in interviewing clients, reviewing clients’ qualification, helping clients pick the right investment, and filing the visa petition. Providing high-quality legal assistance to every client is always his priority. Mr. Tung is dedicated to offering one-stop shop services. He assists our clients and their family with the logistics of becoming a new U.S. resident, including purchasing a house, enrolling children into schools, and much more. Mr. Tung integrates our clients’ investment tendencies, helps them choose a suitable business project and guides our clients through the visa process.

Mr. Tung previously also worked as a gang prosecutor and was assigned to handle gang cases coming out of Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollenbeck Division, historically one of the highest-crime divisions in the City of Los Angeles. During his time as a gang prosecutor, Mr. Tung was a member of the Community Law Enforcement and Recovery (CLEAR) initiative and task force, which consisted of members of the following organizations: Los Angeles Police Department, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Los Angeles County Probation Department, Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, and Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office.

As a member of a CLEAR task force within Hollenbeck Division, Mr. Tung was involved in community outreach and built strong rapport with community members and other fellow law enforcement personnel to keep streets safe. Mr. Tung also conducted vertical prosecution, which is handling a case after intake, to negotiations, to handling cases in master calendar court, trial prep and up to trial. During this time he prosecuted numerous different types of charges as long as the defendant was a known gang member.

These charges involved gang injunctions, sentencing enhancements, weapons charges, vandalism, and probation violations. Prior to working in a specialized unit as a gang prosecutor, Mr. Tung was a general prosecutor and handled a variety of cases including but not limited to prostitution, drug crimes, theft, burglary, robbery, assault & battery, vandalism, and domestic violence. Mr. Tung left the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office in good standing and is still now a Reserve Deputy Los Angeles City Attorney.
